MTV VMAs coming to your television in August

HollywoodNews.com: The MTV Video Music Awards have been known for their spontaneity and unlikely moments that somehow happen to fall into place. Well, now fans can mark their calendars, because the MTV moon man will officially touch down on the surface of your television in August 2011. MTV has just announced the dates for the Movie Awards, VMAs, and Woodie Awards, which are guaranteed to keep you entertained until fall rolls around again. The 20th annual MTV Movie Awards will air live on Sunday, June 5, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) from Los Angeles, the 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live on Sunday, August 28 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), and the 6th annual mtvU Woodie Awards will air live on Wednesday, March 16, at 2 a.m. (ET/PT).
